A well-established organization is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Counter Sales Representative for a full-time, on-site role in Purcellville, VA. This company provides a welcoming, family-oriented work environment and is looking for a motivated self-starter who is eager to learn and expand their expertise.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing products and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service. This is a Monday-Friday position with no nights or weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist walk-in customers by taking orders and entering them into the system accurately.
- Pull materials for walk-in customers and will-call orders.
- Answer incoming phone calls and support customers with product information and order assistance.
- Process product returns efficiently and restock inventory.
- Monitor will-call orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and minimizing aging orders.
- Conduct cycle counts and verify inventory locations for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized lobby and customer area.
- Support warehouse operations as needed, including restocking shelves, receiving deliveries, pulling orders for delivery, and preparing branch transfers.
- Build strong customer relationships through quick, accurate order processing and responsive communication.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, including their functions and applications in plumbing systems.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall branch operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of plumbing experience is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Range
- Pay range: $19-$23 per hour
